Winston-Salem, NC — Streetcar Discussion

The city of Winston-Salem planned a public workshop in late January on a proposal for an urban circulator service which could be a streetcar line or enhanced bus service, Winston-Salem Journal reports. The following is link to a streetcar feasibility study report completed in 2006:

After the streetcar study, it was concluded that a more detailed evaluation of an urban circulator — bus or rail — was needed. The proposed route is three miles long running east west through downtown.
