Milwaukee — More Development Along Streetcar

The BizTimes Milwaukee Business News site reports that more development has been attracted by the streetcar. Local developer Charles Bailey hasunveiled plans to redevelop the historic building at 600 N. Broadway in downtown into a 62-room boutique hotel with street-level restaurant or retail space. Bailey described the streetcar, which runs right past the development site, as a "big deal" positively influencing his plans.
