Kansas City — Sponsorships Sought

Progressive Railroading reports that the Kansas City Streetcar Authority (KCSA) has issued a request for proposal to firms, organizations, companies or individuals interested in sponsoring a streetcar stop or vehicle.

Each applicant will work with KCSA to develop a sponsorship agreement that is "mutually beneficial to all parties," authority officials said in a press release.
KCSA will continue accepting submissions until Jan. 29.

Sponsorship of the line's 16 stops could provide the authority with $330,000 to $490,000 in revenue each year, according to KCSA's sponsorship proposal form.
