Fort Lauderdale — Refunds Coming

The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports that residents along the route of the now-cancelled streetcar who were taxed in support of the project will soon receive refunds. Property owners were assessed some $10 million beginning in 2013. the first refund checks should be issued in the next 60 to 90 days.
