Streetcar Saga
Construction of a streetcar circulator in downtown Cincinnati ibegan in February 2012.
The extent and routing of this line evolved during a multi-year planning cycle, that in its early days would have linked Cincinnati and its Kentucky
neighbors. Subsequently, opinions opposing the streetcar were expressed by both the mayor and governor, but supporters persevered. The line was opened for service on September 9, 2016.
